Glenfield House Opens
‘Glenfield House’ officially opens its doors to provide urgently needed safe and supported transitional accommodation for older women in Southwest Sydney through ‘meanwhile use’ housing.
Urban is proud to have partnered on the delivery of Glenfield House, the first NSW project for the team at Housing All Australians, a milestone moment for purpose-driven collaboration.
This new space will provide a safe haven and a new start to 28 women every night, made possible through the combined efforts of Women's Community Shelters, Hume Community Housing, Whiddon, Temple & Webster and Housing all Australians.
We were honoured to attend the opening event alongside The Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, Minister for Housing, and Local Minister Anoulack Chanthivong MP who joined our partners for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Congratulations to everyone who helped bring Glenfield House to life. We’re proud to support initiatives that create real impact for communities in need - special thanks to our suppliers, subcontractors, and artist Sophi Odling for her beautiful murals throughout the spaces.
