Multiple SSDA Lodged Across NSW
Urban has reached an important milestone, with multiple State Significant Development Applications (SSDAs) now lodged and on public exhibition across Gosford, Castle Hill and Edmondson Park.
The Waterfront (Stages 2 & 3), Gosford
The SSDA for The Waterfront Stages 2 and 3 advances the transformation of Gosford’s waterfront precinct. The proposal includes 394 apartments, with 20% Affordable Housing, two mixed‑use towers, a retail pavilion, a hotel and new retail space. The design strengthens pedestrian connections, enhances public realm outcomes and supports Gosford’s growing visitor economy.
Castle Hill – 16–20 Old Castle Hill Road
Located near the Metro station precinct, this mixed‑use proposal includes 371 dwellings, with Affordable Housing secured for 15 years. The design responds to the evolving metropolitan character of Castle Hill, delivering a slender tower above a fine‑grained podium that reflects local context and Connecting with Country principles.
Edmondson Park – Sites 3, 4 and 5
At Edmondson Park, a single SSDA has been lodged for three sites delivering 1,805 dwellings across build‑to‑sell, build‑to‑rent and co‑living housing, alongside retail, commercial uses and community infrastructure. The proposal integrates closely with Claremont Park, Maxwells Creek and surrounding schools, supporting housing diversity at scale.
Together, these SSDAs reflect Urban’s capability to progress complex, large‑scale developments across NSW and deliver housing, jobs and amenity in growing communities.
